Study on Relationship between Working Performance and Organizational Silence among Employees of Central Organization of Ministry of Youth and Sports

Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between work performance and organizational silence among employees of Ministry of Youth and Sports Central Organization. Within the scope of this study, questionnaire is conducted on employees of Ministry of Youth and Sports Central Organization and results were analyzed statistically. Universe of the study comprises of employees of Ministry of Youth and Sports Central Organization. Random sampling method is used in this study. Questionnaire method was utilized as a tool for gathering data. 361 questionnaires were applied. Within the scope of this study, Organizational Silence Scale and Performance Scale were used. For reliability analysis, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was used. For demographic features analysis frequency analysis was conducte; to investigate the relationship between organizational silence and performance levels of the employees, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin, Barlett’s tests and correlation study were employed. As a result of the study, it is seen that there is a meaningful and directly proportional relationship between organizational silence and working performance.
