Investigation of the organizational committment levels of employees working in Ministry of Youth and Sports according to some demographical variables

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim to investigate the organizational commitment of employees working in Ministry of Youth and Sports of Turkish Republic in terms of various variables. The organizational commitment scale developed by R. T. Mowday, L. W. Porter ve R. M. Steers(1979) was used as data colletion tool. 180 people who are working in Ministry of Youth and Sports of Turkish Republic participated the study as volunteer. All data obtained from the questionners were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 statistical software. In order to determine the participant traits; percent and frequency analyzes were employed. In addition, One-way test was employed to determine whether employees’ personel traits and organizational commitment may be differentiated acoording to the personel traits. According to analyze results, while it was found significant difference in unit in which is worked for in the demographic traits (p<0,05), there was no significant difference according to others variables(p>0,05).
