Abstract

Peace is to live in consensus, security and comfort without contempt, scorn, conflict, fight and war. We wish to be treated ourselves with love, compassion, mercy, tolerance and justice. Because we think that we only feel ourselves safe in this case. No peace without a sense of trust. It is very difficult to find the tranquillity in a society in which there is no peace. The religion which was sent by a creator that is the source of the trust is not possible to have characteristics that will disrupt the peace. So those who disrupt the peace in the name of religion are the people who really didn't understand it correctly. Indeed, Islam that is derived from the root of “salam”, which means the peace couldn't be the source of violence and terrorism. The following verse clearly refers to this situation. “O you who believe! Enter perfectly into peace (al-silm) and follow not the footsteps of Shaitān (Satan). Verily, he is to you a plain enemy”. (Al-Baqarah, 2/208). In this regard, anyone who accepted the principles of Islam, in a sense, has promised that I would be a source of confidence, peace and tranquillity. However, today when we look at some understandings of the religion, we observe that it is exhibited an approach that is contrary to the explicit objective of Islam and is entered into the efforts to make the Quran foothold for the violence and terrorist activities. But when we take a look at the relevant verses in the Quran with the law of war, we see that there is no any goal of war beyond the providing the peace and the security of believers. Quran no qualms to act with justice to non-Muslims and being together in good standing with them and live in peace and safety in the same society unless open aggression situation or perception of a serious threat that will come from them. We thus will try to offer examples of the judiciary that may be the source of violence and terror cannot be removed from the Quran, which is the main source of basic tenets and teachings of Islam that comes from the root of “salam”, which means the peace.
