Abstract
On the basis of FEM models an interaction of elements of low-rise buildings frames from cold- formed thin gauge steel members in lateral force resisting system was investigated. The purpose was to simplify an estimation of lateral force distribution between braced walls. The simplified approach for estimation of lateral force distribution between braced walls that may be used for preliminary building frame’s structures design was developed.
