INFLUENCE OF THE SURGICAL TRAUMA ON THE INCIDENCE OF POSTOPERATIVE COGNITIVE DYSFUNCTION

Abstract
Postoperative cognitive dysfunction becomes now an actual problem. So as to investigate etiology of cognitive dysorder, its causation was compared with the degree of surgical trauma. Cardiac rhythm variability was used for the measurement of the surgical invasion. As the result, it was found the presence of statisticaly reliable direct connection between the incidence of postoperative cognitive dysfunction and the surgical trauma.
