Abstract

In inclusive education the needs of all learners are addressed so that good and appropriate education can be provided to all. It involves all kinds of practices that are ultimately practices of good teaching. Inclusion is providing more options for children as ways to learn. It involves structuring schools as community where all children can learn. An inherent requirement of inclusion is collaboration and consultation or in other words we can say that there must be collaborative consultation among the various vested interest groups involved in providing effective educational programmes for students with special needs. Collaborative Consultation is an interactive process that enables people with diverse expertise to generate creative situations to mutually defined problems
