Abstract

Revue describes the modern approaches in understanding of the psychological goals in clinical cancer care. The components of the professional activity such as building of confidence and emotional responsibility, individual psychological attitude, understanding of basic psychological needs, are considered. The influence of the psychological well-being on quality, such as on duration of cancer survival, is stressed. The psychological aims and principles of communication in children cancer care and family consulting are described. The importance of the psychological need “to be known” is stressed as one of the most meaningful for the development of the effectiveness of clinical cancer care.
