Abstract

An experimental study on 10 outbred dogs, of which 6 (main group) into the peritoneal cavity of a polypropylene mesh was implanted helium-coated cellulose. In all cases, the implants are contacted with the loops of the small intestine. Three months later by histological examination of a strong link ("rooting") polypropylene mesh implanted with adipose tissue of the greater omentum dog in the absence of alterative changes in the implant, and a helium coating of cellulose prevented the formation of adhesions with the surrounding organs of the abdominal cavity.
