Abstract
The analysis of anthropometric and functional indices 292 male medical students of Voronezh city at the age of 17-21 years was carried out, depending on somatic sexual differentiation. The indexed evaluation of physical development has been received. Most of the boys had a gynaecomorphic or mesomorphic body type. Gynaecomorphism is characterized by a narrow rib cage, increasing of the transverse diameter of the large pelvis, brahiskelia and normoskelia. That is why among gynaecomorphic boys people with strong sexual constitution revealed more significantly. This makes it possible to consider gynaecomorphia in men a predictor of premature aging. Andromorphism is characterized by the ongoing process of acceleration: increasing the length of the body while standing and sitting and trochanter height. Evaluation of physical development of young men showed that the index of sexual dimorphism can be used as a marker in the evaluation of physical health.
