Abstract
The problem of liver failure in patients with obstructive jaundice from the standpoint of modern ethiopathogenesis is viewed in the article. A review of the main actual classifications of liver failure was made. The original classification of liver failure in the syndrome of obstructive jaundice is presented by authors.
