FACTORS AFFECTING THE PURCHASE BEHAVIOR: A CASE STUDY ON INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS IN WEST JAVA INDONESIA

Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aimed to examine the effect of predictor variables (Age, Gender, Main Purpose, Frequency Visiting, Length of Stay, Traveling Partner, and Kind of Accommodations) with tourist’s expenditure during the tour in West Java Indonesia. Data was collected from Passenger Exit Survey in Husein Sastranegara Airport on the period of September to October 2013. The result is the relationship between the predictor variables with tourist’s expenditure has a weak relationship, with great influence a total of 16.90%. While 83.20% of tourist’s expenditure variables influenced by other variables outside Age, Gender, Main Purpose, Visiting Frequency, Length of Stay, Traveling Partner, and Kind of Accommodations.
