Abstract
In this article peculiarities of the organization of educational process at polytechnic institutes in the 1950s? 1980s have been considered. An increase in students’ creative activity and number of scientific works of experimental character, strengthening of ties with production, emergence of new forms of scientific and research work of students ? student’s design offices, laboratories, workshops, etc was stated in the paper. It has been discovered that starting with the 1960s broad introduction of electronic computers was one of the ways of improvement of efficiency of educational process. The process of the organization of work practice, students’ individual study, scientific and research work has been characterized. Major disadvantages in educational process organization at polytechnic institutes of Ukraine in the period being explored have been presented in this article.
