Abstract
The chloroform extract of Tetraplueratetraptera root gave a compound identified as Nnenoside A. The compound was isolated at chloroform: methanol ratio of 80:20 mixtures and the purity monitored with TLC and a single spot was observed using Pet. ether: chloroform: methanol ratio of 70:22.5:7.5% with Rf value of 0.833. The structure of compound was elucidated with combination of IR, 1H and 13C NMR, COSY, DEPT NMR and Mass spectral analysis.
