Abstract
The purpose of this article is to reveal the nature of employee commitment and in particular the organizational commitment and its influence on the behavior of employees and functioning of the organization as a whole. The paper analyzes the different types of commitment and the factors that lead to its increase or decrease. An attempt to systematize the possible effects of the influence of organizational commitment on employee behavior and its consequences for the organization. This will lead to a general framework which will achieve higher levels of commitment, productivity and satisfaction among employees.
