EFFECTIVENESS OF PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC CORRECTION EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN PATIENTS WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA STATIONARY CONDITIONS

Abstract
The aim of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of short-term program of psychotherapeutic correction of disturbed emotional intelligence in patients with schizophrenia. Statistically significant improvement in the parameters of emotional intelligence (identification of emotions, understanding and analysis of emotions, total score), reduced positive and negative symptoms, improved quality of life and social functioning have been revealed in the participants of the program. Follow-up study (one year after the treatment) showed resistance of the achieved results and reduction in the frequency of hospitalizations in patients who completed the program.
