Abstract
Today, we are living in the age of knowledge, wherein knowledge is the key to societal development. Libraries and Information Centers are by far the most potential sources of revenue generation, where the resources of the libraries are marketed effectively. Library professionals are aware of the advantages of marketing and library literature is teeming with the concept of marketing, drawing up marketing plans, devising of an effective marketing strategy, and case studies on marketing of library and information services. This article deals with the methodology of how library professionals can market their products and services in the electronic environment and the right type of blend of traditional and electronic in marketing.
