Abstract
The System of Rice Intensification (SRI) is an unusual innovation in several ways in that its methods can raise, concurrently, the productivity of the land, labour, water, and capital invested in irrigated rice production. Studies carried out on three nutrient supply management aspects i.e. FYM+NF treatment (N:P:K-150:60:40+10t FYM ), 20 t FYM treatment and farmer practice (N:P:K-150:60:40) in kharif 2009 and 2010 at five farmers field under jurisdiction area of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Shahjahanpur. Experiment laid out under RBD design. FYM + NF treatment resulted significantly more yield and yield contributing character over FYM treatment and farmers practice. FYM + NF also performed significantly higher plant height, number of effective tiller per hill, root spread and biomass and less level of disease and pest infestation during both the crop season.
