Abstract
Emblica officinalis is an Indian fruit which has been used in use in the Indian subcontinent and Malyan Peninsula from time immemorial. In the present study 39 genotypes leaf sample was collected and their leaf characterization was done for following parameters 1°Vein category, 2°Vein category, Basal vein, Laminar symmetry, Base angle, Base shape and Apex shape. Dendrogram revealed NDG-1, NDG-2, NDG-3, NDG-4, NDG-7 and NDG-9 had similarity coefficient 49, their base angle was acute. NDG-6 was separate from all the genotypes. Most diverse group was IIB having NDG-13, Francis, NDG-20 and Laxmi-52 genotypes.
