CUSTOMS SECURITY AS THE COMPONENT OF NATIONAL SECURITY OF UKRAINE

Problem setting. The crisis of recent years in Ukraine increased the need to provide the national security in response to external threats. It seems that in the new conditions customs affairs become not only a tool and guide of foreign economic activity, but also plays an increasingly important role, becoming a means of control and the formation of new economic relations and tides. These circumstances justify the importance of researches concerning with ensuring national security and an effective customs policy. Analysis of recent researches and publications. The problems of the customs security of Ukraine have been studied in the works of legal scholars S.V. Kivalov, B.A. Kormich, V.Y. Nastyuk, P.V. Pashko, S.M. Perepelkin, K.K. Sandrovskyi, economists - J.A. Zhalilo, V.I. Muntiyan, D.C. Sablukov and other leading scientists. Target of research. The aim of the article is to study the scientific and practical material for the determination of the place of the customs policy of the national security state policy, as well as the role of customs bodies in its maintenance. Article's main body. The article analyzes the legal regulation of state customs policy in Ukraine. The main objectives of customs policy have been defined in this article, the main one - the realization of state economic interests. Objects and subjects of customs policy ensuring have been considered. The analysis of the evolution of customs relations has been conducted. The theoretical conclusions and practical recommendations for the development of the national customs policy have been given. Conclusions and prospects for the development. The following conclusions have been drawn on the basis of the study: 1) the activity of customs body is one of the important elements of national security ensuring; 2) the place of the customs policy in the national security state policy is defined by its task - economic interests and security ensuring; 3) customs interests of the state that ensure both foreign and customs security consider as the object of customs security; 4) customs bodies are the main subjects of customs security ensuring. Categories of "economic security" and "customs security" and its impact on the practical activities of customs bodies should be studied hereafter.
