Abstract
The Multilevel Adaptive cross Approximation (MLACA), an algorithm to solve MoM electromagnetic problems with computational cost O(N2) and a storage scaling with O(NlogN) , is presented here and for the first time applied to a whole electromagnetic problem and not only to the interaction between blocks whose containing spheres do not intersect each other. For compressing an off - diagonal submatrix of the method of moments (MoM) impedance matrix with a bina ry tree, the L - level MLACA includes L + 1 steps, and each step includes 2 L ACA - SVD decompositions.
