Abstract
Transcriptome profiling involves estimation of transcript’s relative abundance and focuses on differentially expressed genes among various groups, which helps in identification of potential genes responsible for susceptible and resistant reaction of plant diseases. The transcriptome study enriches knowledge on host-pathogen interaction and also discloses the crucial biochemical pathways involved in defense mechanism of plants against various diseases.
