Abstract
The most powerful inventions across the globe enable all key domains with immense amount of data along with enormous number of stakeholders rapidly and significantly. The data in the key domains widely distributed, high dimensional, interrelated, rich and dynamic in nature. The stakeholders of the key domains have high aspirations on reliability, efficiency, productivity and in many other aspects. With this trend and usage of information technology, the data become torrent and golden mount with world's largest big data repository. As a result, big data has profoundly influenced many aspects of stakeholders’ lives and brought changes in all domains. However, extraction of abundant information available in big data poses great challenges in the era of big data research. Thus, the techniques and technologies of big data play a critical role in extracting desired insights from such complex data. The legacy systems and techniques were proved to be not efficient as the data expand exponentially, generate with unprecedented rate, high heterogeneity and inherently uncertain. This situation gain focus of the present researchers towards big data analytics equipped with advanced statistics, data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning and self learning algorithms in order to reach the expectations of all stakeholders.
