Abstract
In developing countries, accumulation of unmanaged agricultural waste has resulted in an increased environmental concern. Recycling of such agricultural wastes is the viable solution not only to pollution problem, but also the problem of land filling. In view of utilization of agricultural waste in concrete and mortar, the present paper reviews, utilization of sugarcane bagasse ash (SCBA) in different compositions that were added to the raw material at different levels to develop sustainable concrete and mortar. Various physico-mechanical properties of the concrete and mortar incorporating sugarcane bagasse ash are reviewed an d recommendations are suggested as the outcome of the study
