Abstract
As global consensus about the need for integrated management grows, it may now be social and economic forces, rather than technical considerations, that determine the success of integrated management and planning effort. The planning is mainly targeting national level in the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation (MWRI) in Egypt.
