Abstract
In today’s era, the micro air vehicles have become more popular due to their applications mainly in military field, precision farming and firefighting. Micro air vehicles (MAVs) are controlled through ground control station (GCS) via the software called Mission Planner (MP). While handling the multiple tasks in MP, the MAVs operator confronts the risk in entering the data since a small failure in the input command may cause huge damage to the system. Hence it is very hard to monitor the MAVs as it requires abundant workload. To overcome this problem, a voice based instruction is fed to the MP performs the tasks of high-fidelity G CS instead of manual input for MAVs. In this paper, a voice based text conversion for the GCS is proposed through the newly formed voice graphical user interface button. Furthermore, the proposed method is compared with the corresponding commands in the GCS to perform the MA Vs actions.
