Abstract
During my work experience while selling a commodity, I have realised the fact that the life cycle pattern of a commodity (product) journeys almost as similar as that of a human being and experiences the same success and turmoil during this journey as a human being experiences. In the following passages I have attempted to establish a close relationship between a product life cycle vis a vis life cycle of a human being.
A normal person, over a period of time during his life cycle, if the circumstances favour him and he is bestowed with good human values attains a popular status in the society and then there are reasons for him facing a downfall. One can see the similar fate of a product in its life cycle.
