Abstract
The problems of ground water quality in several parts of the country have become so acute in the areas that are densely populated and thickly Industrialized and have shallow ground water tube wells. The present study is aimed to evaluate the ground water, surface water quality of central India covering various physical & inorganic nonmetallic constituent i.e. Temperature, pH, Turbidity, Total dissolve solids, Hardness, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Nitrate, Sulphate and Phosphate for water quality. Result Shows Slightly exceeded value of pH, turbidity, hardness; BOD, COD and phosphate were reported at some locations of study area.
