Abstract
This paper presents an experimental investigation o n the influence of Nano-Silica (NS) on various strength characteristics of concrete containing Micro-Silica (MS). Micro-Silica and Nano- Silica are used as partial replacement of cement for the preparation of concrete. In the present investigation cement is partially replaced by 5% an d 10% of Micro-Silica and 1.5% and 3% of Nano- Silica by weight. The combined application of Micro -Silica and Nano-Silica on various properties of M40 and M50 grades of concrete is investigated.
