Abstract
Congenital splenic cyst is also called epidermoid or epithelial cyst. Most of the cysts are asymptomatic and incidently diagnosed during ultrasound of abdomen. Symptomatic patients generally present with pain in epigastrium and fullness in left upper abdomen, and a palpable mass. Authors put up their views in favour of total splenectomy in large splenic cyst.
