Abstract
Approaching the maintenance developments in the industrialized countries, it can be concluded that these are not limited to the development of content maintenance. This the trend is manifested by taking into account the imperatives of maintenance in the stage of design and choosing new equipment, regarding their reliability and maintainability. This the paper presents the factors that determine the evolution of the maintenance function of the industrial units, namely: technological factors, economic factors and human factors.
