Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to determine the severity of the head injury during the collision of a vehicle’s bonnet with the head of the pedestrian by using an experimental test bench. In this research were used two types of bonnets: a normal bonnet and a pop-up bonnet. Is intended to find the differences in head injuries of a vehicle equipped with a pop-up bonnet and a vehicle equipped with a standard bonnet.
