Abstract
Given the diversity and complexity of innovation processes in the plant, their evaluation, it is advisable to carry out using a
set of criteria. It is necessary to determine the effectiveness of specific stages of the innovation process, using a system of performance indicators that measure the technological, economic. social and environmental performance. Integral parameter for evaluating the innovation process as a whole can be a payback. Appropriate in evaluating the innovation process is the use of methods efficiency evaluation of projects, which shall consist of evaluating the effectiveness of: participation in the project; development and implementation; evaluation of the project based on the results of its implementation. Evaluation of innovative projects should include formal methods of calculating the quantitative criteria and informal, expert methods of analysis of various aspects of the project.
