Abstract
This work devoted to the problem of obesity in modern medical practice. The paper considers the question of the pathogenesis of the disease, determined the role of adipose tissue in the metabolic processes in the body. It is shown the modern data about the structure of adipose tissue and its components ? cytokine part of immunity and adipokines.
