Abstract

The article shows economic functions of the state that are due to targeted ultimate cause and formation of economic and political subsystem of the whole economic system. These functions contain the following: formation of bodies of economic power and organization of their activity; development and improvement of such economic model which could suit peculiarities of the society, its natural environment, internal and external challenges; formation of budget-tax system; status for entities and definition of ?rules? of their interaction. The experience of the activity of the state in the development of market economic system in England for Ukraine is as follows: 1. It is necessary to provide a democratic character of power, development of its independent branches as the background for market transformation of national economic system in Ukraine. 2. It is important to form economic institution of private property as the basis for market economic system. Legitimization of private property rights for each entity is a guarantor for private property rights. 3. Economic functions of the state are realized with establishment of economic institutions as a means for organization of market economic processes in all components of national economic system. Particularly fiscal institutions, institute of national budget, institute of capital commercialization, means of production, land, labour and money are formed in its economic and political subsystem.
