The investigated the effect two external translational of kinematic pairs structural groups of the third class the number of its possible assembly. Search assembly was performed in the Mathcad program on the basis of vectors representations by complex numbers and it reduces to finding the real roots of a polynomial of the fourth degree. The maximum number of assemblies is four.
