Abstract
The article presents the statistical evaluation of laser attenuation in the atmospheric channel, based on meteorological data by Samarkand Airport. The availability
coefficient of communication channel is defined which is necessary for the design of OOTS. The obtained data may be useful for operators in the Samarkand region on open optical transmission systems.
