Abstract
The land-reclamation condition of irrigation systems is largely determined by the water regime of irrigated lands. In its turn, the water regime of the land depends on the irrigation of cultivated crops. This problem for rice irrigation system increases because the intensity of the ameliorative impact on irrigated land is much higher than conventional irrigation system, where upland culture are cultivated. The novelty of the research work is in the establishment of the optimum depth of flooding rice bay with a view to ensuring the normal physiological growth and development of rice plants by the maintaining a favourable salt and thermal regimes of soil and water.
