Cloud Computing - Uprise of IT

It is a great idea to make many normal computers together to get a super computer, and this computer can do a lot of things. This is the concept of cloud computing. Cloud computing is the product of the fusion of traditional computing technology and network technology like grid computing, distributed computing, parallel computing and so on. During the past few years, cloud computing has grown from being a promising business idea to one of the fastest growing parts of the IT industry. In this paper, we have discussed the background and service model of cloud computing. Also, the existing issues in cloud computing such as security, privacy etc and their appropriate solutions have been discussed. Lastly we have compared cloud computing with grid computing.
