Artificial Neural Networks and its working

This paper concerned with the basics of an Artificial Neural Network (ANN).It? includes building blocks of neural networks, how these cells are connected to each other, activation values , topologies of ANN and? learning of ANN i.e how to improve the performance by changing weight values, ANN layers? and Architecture types are explained and application of neural network in face detection in an image.
