THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL BASIS OF FORMATION OF LINGUISTIC COMPETENCE BY STUDENTS OF NOT-LANGUAGE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

The task of this article is determination of theoretical bases of process of foreign language learning at higher education institution. In the context of the modern requirements to the graduate and education, the formation of linguistic competence as the principal component of communicative competence is one of the purposes of students training in a foreign language. The considered approaches are used by teachers for choice of training strategy, methods and ways of foreign language teaching at not-language higher education institution
