Abstract
The article deals with the aspects of art industry system development under the conditions of market relations. Basing on the analysis of this issue the positive and negative tendencies, influencing the art industry development in the system of these relations are considered. The aspects of formation of Russian art industry peculiarities, tendencies and development prospects are defined taking into account the role of government in this process.
