Abstract

Agglomerations concentrate scientific and technical, production and sociocultural potential, being the bases of development acceleration and having an impact on the surrounding territories. In article formation prerequisites of the Sochi agglomeration are studied, its borders and structure are defined taking into account the main factors. The conclusion is made about the necessity of consideration of Sochi agglomeration as resort agglomeration of ecopolis type.
