Abstract
This paper explores the benefits of using immersive and interactive multiprojection environments to visualize molecules, and how it can be used to improve student learning. We have proposed and implemented a tool for teachers to manipulate molecules and another to edit molecules and assists students at home. The contribution of this research project is these tools that allow the investigation of structures, properties and dynamics of a molecular system which are extremely complex and comprises millions of atoms. The immersive experience of these tools is enriched through multimedia content associated with parts of the models; for example, videos and text are linked to a specific molecule, demonstrating some detail. This solution is integrated to a teaching-learning process.
