Abstract
Dargwa constitutes a separate subgroup within the Nakh-Dagestanian group of the Cacausian language family and is known for its numerous dialects (up to 40). The significant difference between some of its dialects suggests that they may be regarded as separate languages. The article aims at determining the status of Anklukh and Amukh dialects by comparing them with standard Dargwa. The results obtained allow regarding Anklukh and Amukh dialects as very close dialects of the same language within the group of the Dargwa languages.
