Abstract
The paper studies the possibility of dry seeds of crops to ultra-low moisture content (below 5.7 %) without reducing their germination. It is assumed that the seeds can be stored for a long time without the use of low temperatures. A preferred drying was using silica gel ratio seeds: silica = 1:10. This technique is not always possible to get ultra-dry seeds, but can be recommended for drying seeds for professionals involved in the preservation of collections of seeds of crops that do not have modern drying room, the recommended standards for genebanks.
