THE METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO THE STUDY OF THE FORMATION OF SOCIAL IDENTITY OF STUDENTS IN THE PROCESS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION

A review of the scientific concepts and studies of social identity, including social identity of the youth, its conditions and factors given in this article It is shown that there is a contradiction between social need in the management of innovative development of regional universities, and lack of scientific elaboration of social mechanisms of managerial influence, including the involvement of the active part of youth. This led to the selec- tion system and institutional approaches as a methodology which the author proposes to study the formation of social identity of student youth in the conditions of innovative development of the region. The author proposes to explore the possibility of the formation of social identity of students in the process of its involvement in the de- velopment of innovative potential of the region. It contributes to the definition of the main directions of innova- tion policy in the region
