ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING OF DIFFERENT LUCERNE VARIETIES IN THE CONDITIONS OF FOOTHILL - STEPPE AREA OF EAST KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract
16 lucerne varieties from the selection of different regions of Kazakhstan and Russia were probated on the environmental testing in 2012?14 in the condition of foothill-steppe area of East Kazakhstan. The results of the testing indicates, that by the productivity of the dry matter and seeds 4 varieties show best result: “Raihan” - 61,5 and 1,5 centner per hectare, “Yaroslavna” - 59,9 and 1,7 centner per hectare, No1068 - 61,1 and 1,6 centner per hectare, “Priobskaya” - 59,9 and 1,5 centner per hectare. It exceeded the standard for 9,7-12,8 and 14,3-21,4% respectively.
