The article gives the interpretation of examination activities of judicial authorities and a detailed description of their properties. Based on the scientific research, the author’s concept of examination activities of judicial authorities is defined. Moreover, the necessity of development and adoption of Regulation of the Government of the Russian Federation “On the functions of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on provision of the common legal framework” is proved
