ON THE ECOLOGICAL STATE OF THE VOLGA RIVER BASIN: ANALYSIS OF POLLUTION DYNAMICS OVER A PERIOD OF 2010-2014

Ecological research of the Volga River basin as the largest internal-drainage basin in Europe is timely and important. Heavy use of this territory changes the natural environment. One of the consequences is the release of pollutants into the atmosphere and aquatic habitat. In this article an attempt is made to reveal the main trends of pollution on the territory of the Volga basin throughout the period of 2010-2014 and to analyze their dynamics.
