Abstract
This article discusses the conceptual issues specified in the PP-1875 to study foreign languages in accordance to radically updated state educational standards. The article discusses the reasons for the creation of new educational standards and as a consequence of this new approach to the professional development of teachers, a new generation of teaching ? teaching aids, and creation of a national education system ? assessment.
